Tofu Industry, Waste, Pollution ControlAbstract
Industrial tofu waste can impact water bodies if not properly managed, leading to water quality issues and harm to aquatic life. This study aims to examine and analyze the implementation of water pollution control resulting from tofu industry activities. The research uses a sociological empirical method, with data collected through literature review and interviews, and analyzed using qualitative data analysis. The findings indicate that pollution control and environmental damage mitigation from tofu industry activities, particularly in Langgini Village, are not adequately implemented. The study recommends that authorities should provide outreach and supervision and encourage businesses to implement centralized wastewater treatment systems (IPAL) to facilitate tofu industry operations.
